amazon is one of the beautiful places on earth,i'm sure if oil is found in some corner there then people and governments are going to exploit the whole forest.Any how the economy of an nation depends upon the energy sector to a large extend so i think brazil can go ahead and explore for oil and gas in these regions but must see to that by all means the forest and nature be preserved.environmental impact and safety towards nature should be given the first preference.it would be good if brazil could get the latest technologies and techniques in petroleum exploration from developed countries like US and some gulf states and see to that their god given nature is preserved.
